SHIPPING POLICY

OVERVIEW

This Shipping Policy outlines how Crazy Good Buy (“CrazyGoodBuy.com,” “Crazy Good Buy,” “CGB,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles the shipment and delivery of all commercial equipment, supplies, and products purchased through our website.

Because we ship primarily commercial-grade foodservice and restaurant equipment—often via LTL freight—our shipping procedures differ from standard consumer retail.

By placing an order with Crazy Good Buy, you acknowledge and agree to the shipping terms described below.

SECTION 1 – FREIGHT SHIPPING OVERVIEW

Most equipment sold by Crazy Good Buy ships via LTL freight due to size, weight, or packaging requirements. Smaller items may ship via standard parcel carriers such as UPS, FedEx, or USPS.

Freight shipments may require:

  • Loading docks

  • Pallet jack or forklift access

  • Commercial delivery locations

  • Delivery appointment scheduling

  • Liftgate service (additional fee)

Quotes generated at checkout are estimates based on the information provided. Actual carrier-assessed charges may differ.

SECTION 2 – PROCESSING TIMES

Orders for in-stock items typically ship within 2–5 business days.

Orders requiring special handling—such as crating, palletizing, testing, or additional preparation—may require more time.

Special-order, backordered, or manufacturer-direct items will ship according to manufacturer fulfillment timelines.

We will notify you if your order cannot ship within a reasonable time.

SECTION 3 – SHIPPING CHARGES & ACCESSORIAL FEES

Shipping charges depend on:

  • Destination address

  • Freight class and weight

  • Number of pallets

  • Required additional services

  • Limited access or residential location status

Accessorial fees may include (but are not limited to):

  • Liftgate delivery

  • Residential delivery

  • Inside delivery or white-glove service

  • Limited access delivery (schools, churches, rural areas, etc.)

  • Re-delivery or storage fees

  • Appointment scheduling fees

If selected at checkout or assessed by the carrier due to site conditions, these fees are the buyer’s responsibility.

Crazy Good Buy is not responsible for fees added by the carrier after shipment.

SECTION 4 – RISK OF LOSS

Title and risk of loss transfer to the buyer the moment the shipment is tendered to the freight carrier, not upon delivery to the destination.

This includes:

  • Damage in transit

  • Lost freight

  • Delayed freight

  • Carrier routing issues

  • Incorrect deliveries made by the freight company

Once the carrier takes possession of the freight, Crazy Good Buy is no longer liable for carrier performance.

SECTION 5 – DELIVERY INSPECTION REQUIREMENTS

Buyers must inspect all shipments upon delivery. Failure to follow these steps may void freight claim eligibility.

At Delivery (Before Signing):

  • Inspect all sides of the pallet, packaging, and equipment

  • Photograph any damage (minor or major)

  • Note all damage or missing items on the carrier’s delivery receipt

  • Refuse delivery only if damage is severe

Concealed Damage

Must be reported within 5 days of delivery.

Include photos, a description, and your order number.

Important:

Signing the delivery receipt without noting damage indicates that the shipment was received in acceptable condition and may limit freight claim approval.

SECTION 6 – MISDELIVERIES & DELAYS

Crazy Good Buy is not responsible for:

  • Delays caused by carriers

  • Incorrect routing

  • Weather delays

  • Carrier truck breakdowns

  • Missed delivery appointments

  • Detention fees caused by buyer inaction

Once freight is released to the carrier, all transit-related issues must be handled directly with the freight provider.

SECTION 7 – REFUSED SHIPMENTS

Unauthorized or improper refusals may incur:

  • Return freight charges

  • Re-delivery or storage fees

  • Restocking fees (up to 20%)

Refusals for any reason other than documented shipping damage will be treated as a return per our Refund Policy.

SECTION 8 – INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

For shipments outside the United States, buyers are responsible for:

  • Duties

  • Customs fees

  • Import taxes

  • Brokerage fees

  • Local government charges

Crazy Good Buy does not provide customs clearance support.
