RETURN & REFUND POLICY

OVERVIEW

This Return & Refund Policy describes how Crazy Good Buy (“CrazyGoodBuy.com,” “Crazy Good Buy,” “CGB,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles returns, refunds, and return eligibility for commercial equipment purchases.

Because we sell commercial restaurant, bar, and foodservice equipment—often large, heavy, and shipped via freight—our policies differ from standard consumer retail return policies.

By purchasing from Crazy Good Buy, you agree to the terms outlined below.

SECTION 1 – RETURN ELIGIBILITY (NEW EQUIPMENT ONLY)

New equipment may be eligible for return within 7 days of delivery, subject to the following requirements:

To qualify for a return:

  • The item must be unused.

  • The item must be uninstalled (not wired, plumbed, or connected).

  • The item must be returned in its original packaging, including crates, pallets, manuals, accessories, and protective materials.

  • You must obtain written return authorization from Crazy Good Buy before shipping anything back.

  • Return freight must be paid by the buyer, unless the return is due to shipping damage, mis-shipment, or a product-related error.

All returns are subject to inspection. Items failing to meet these criteria will be denied and returned to the buyer at their expense.

SECTION 2 – NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

The following items cannot be returned under any circumstances:

  • Used equipment

  • Open-box or gently used equipment

  • Demo models

  • Clearance or liquidation items

  • Final-sale items

  • Daily Deal / Auction items

  • Any item that has been installed, wired, connected, modified, or used

  • Items not in original condition

  • Items missing required packaging or components

If your item falls under any of the above categories, it is not eligible for return or refund.

SECTION 3 – RESTOCKING FEES

Approved returns of new equipment may be subject to a 20% restocking fee.

This fee covers:

  • Inspection

  • Testing

  • Repackaging

  • Administrative handling

Original shipping charges, including freight and accessorial fees, are non-refundable.

SECTION 4 – WRONG ITEM / MIS-SHIPMENT

If Crazy Good Buy ships the incorrect item:

  • We will arrange return shipping at our expense; and

  • Ship the correct item once the incorrect item is returned;

Incorrect shipments must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.

SECTION 5 – DAMAGED SHIPMENTS (FREIGHT DAMAGE)

Commercial equipment ships via freight carriers, and proper inspection is essential.

Visible Damage (Must Be Reported Within 48 Hours)

At the time of delivery, you must:

  • Inspect the shipment thoroughly

  • Photograph any damage

  • Note damage on the delivery receipt before signing

Concealed Damage (Must Be Reported Within 5 Days)

If unseen damage is discovered after delivery, email us immediately with:

  • Photos

  • Description of the damage

  • Order number

  • Delivery receipt (if applicable)

Failure to report within these timeframes may prevent us from assisting with a freight claim.

SECTION 6 – DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS

New Equipment

Manufacturer warranties apply.

Warranty claims must be handled according to the manufacturer’s procedures.

Crazy Good Buy may assist in coordinating warranty support, but decisions belong solely to the manufacturer.

Used / Open-Box Equipment

All used, open-box, and gently used equipment is sold AS-IS, with no warranty and no eligibility for defect-based returns.

SECTION 7 – REFUND PROCESSING

Once a return is approved and the item is received and inspected, refunds typically process within 7–10 business days.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method.

Shipping costs, accessorial fees, and restocking fees will be deducted from the refund when applicable.

SECTION 8 – HOW TO REQUEST A RETURN

  • Your full name

  • Order number

  • Item(s) you wish to return

  • Reason for return

  • Photos (if applicable)

Returns without written authorization will be refused.
